Playground Games

Today each class had a session to learn more about playground games. We also allocated Playground Leaders, who observed and joined in all of the games!

We look forward to using more of these in our play!

Self Portrait Enrichment Club

Children have been honing their drawing techniques this half-term in our portrait enrichment club, producing some wonderful pieces of work in pencil, charcoal and oil pastels. We definitely have a few budding Rembrandts and Frida Kahlos!

Find Your Brave – Children’s Mental Health Week

Each class have enjoyed an activity centred around Children’s Mental Health Week. We focused on the theme ‘Find Your Brave’.
Early Years and Key Stage One had circle times using stories to discuss braveness and the small steps of bravery we take everyday.
Key Stage Two looked at the song This Is Me from The Greatest Showman and we shared our thoughts and feelings of overcoming fears in our circle time.

Plant to Plate

We are collecting coupons to win gardening equipment to promote healthy learning!

The scheme, sponsored by PlantGrow, sees the EDP and Norwich Evening News working with Enjoy Gardening More to give primary schools across the region a chance to share in £10,000 worth of equipment.

Please collect as many coupons as possible and post them in our ‘Plant to Plate’ box in the school foyer!

Newly Decorated Foyer

School Council’s plan to redecorate the foyer is well under way!

Thank you to Mrs Winterbourn for helping us update this part of our school. It celebrates our fantastic School Council but also our Wonderful Wednesdays; when our Proud Penguins have Afternoon Tea with Ms Jones!
