Christingle Service at St Mary’s Church

Many of you in North Elmham and the surrounding area like to attend the Christingle Service at St Mary’s Church each year. It is a service which brings the village together as a community and is always a very special time for everyone. This year the service will be on Sunday 19th December at 5pm. It would be lovely to see as many of you there as possible. The Crib service is also a welcoming service, especially if you have younger children. The children are encouraged to be involved in setting out the crib, again, it would be great if you were able to support this service with your family and friends. It is on Christmas Eve at 5pm.

Many thanks
Mrs Budgett

Keeping warm on Welly Day

There has been a noticeable drop in temperature this week.  We will continue to go out for our Welly Day sessions as they are so valuable for all of our children.

At school we have waterproof trousers, but please make sure that your child brings their wellies, has a warm coat, a hat, gloves and an extra pair of socks.  It is the toes and the fingers which tend to get cold first!

We have many ways to keep warm, through keeping active, lighting fires and having a warm drink, but you can’t beat suitable clothing!  Please be reassured that if I feel that children are getting too cold we will always come in to warm ourselves up.

Collective Worship Easter Assemblies

This week we have been very lucky to watch two great Easter assemblies prepared for us to watch in the classrooms. Andy Jones from Raise Kids, a regular visitor in both schools and The Open the Book team made up of parishioners from The Heart of Norfolk churches. Everyone has really enjoyed watching them and learning about the true meaning of Easter. If you would like to watch them as a family please click on the links below.
