We had a great time pond dipping this afternoon. The children were very well behaved and they found lots of amazing minibeasts. It was a lovely way to celebrate the end of SATs. Well done to all the children!
This Friday Lions Class are looking to finish off their motorised vehicles (D&T project) by adding bodywork to them. So if you have any junk recycling you’re about to throw out (margarine tubs, plastic bottles / tubs, cereal boxes, cardboard tubes etc.), could you please send it to Lions Class for Friday? Thanks!
The children have worked incredibly hard this week during our revision lessons and practice papers ready for the big week next week. Many amazing scores and, importantly, lots of huge improvements.
Please ensure children relax this weekend and get good sleep. A little grammar revision wouldn’t go a miss as it’s our first test on Monday – but nothing too heavy: just a little recap on things needed.
Reminder of the timetable for the week –
Monday – Grammar Paper 1 and Grammar Paper 2 (spellings)
Tuesday – Reading
Wednesday – Maths Paper 1 (arithmetic) and Maths Paper 2 (reasoning)
Thursday – Maths Paper 3 (reasoning)
The children are all stars and you should be proud of their efforts this year. If you have any final questions about SATs Week please don’t hesitate to ask.
Selected Year 5 children participated in a Maths Easter Challenge Day at Northgate High School. They had a great time working together to solve problems, complete a treasure hunt and spending time in the E.L.F.
